K3 Visa in Thailand
If you are married to a Thai citizen then you can apply for a K3 visa for your wife. It takes bit longer that a K1 Visa however the process of obtaining citizenship later is much shorter and easier.

- Once NBC approves it, it goes to the National Visa Centre;
- Once this is done they will forward it to the US Embassy in Bangkok;
- The Embassy arranges for the interview;
- Once they are satisfied she will get a K3 Visa issued.
The K3 Visa is a “multiple entry” visa which means that she will be able to travel freely unlike the K1 Visa which will only allow you into the US and you can only leave the US on a K1 Visa after applying for advance parole. The K3 Visa is a much better option than the K1 Visa for this reason alone.
